OUR COVID-19 POLICY

We are following the guidance set out by the UK Government and will update our policy in line with changes. 

Government guidance for food businesses on Covid-19

Please read below for a summary of the main measures we are adopting:

THE PARLOUR

Within the Parlour we have new etiquette in light of the COVID – 19 situation and we would ask you to kindly work with us to help ensure the safety of our guests and staff. 


We are asking customers for their name and personal contact details (on line bookings will have already provided this information). Data will be used in case a COVID-19 incident has been reported, in which case we are required to pass your data on to the local health authority for track and contact purposes. 
 

Some tables will be kept free, depending on the configuration of booking groups, to aid social distancing measures.


Customers are asked to kindly wait outside for a table if they are all occupied.


Hand sanitiser will be provided for use by all guests upon entering the Parlour.


Menus are coated in an easy wipe matt lacquer finish for safe cleaning between uses. 


We ask customers to maintain a safe distance of at least 1 meter from the neighbouring party as well as our staff members.


One person at a time can wait in the corridor outside the toilet facilities whilst they are occupied.
Tables and chairs will be cleaned and sanitised after each sitting.

TAKEAWAY

We would invite one customer group up to the counter in the Parlour at a time.

 

We ask customers not to enter the Parlour if they are experiencing any symptoms of coronavirus (COVID-19) or have been asked to self-isolate as part of the Government's Track & Trace programme. 

We ask customers to place takeaway orders at the counter or with a front of house team member. 

We ask customers to please read the signs and follow the guidelines in the Parlour.

PAYMENT

We would prefer payment via credit card (but understand that on occasion customers only have cash).  We accept all major credit and debit cards, including Visa, MasterCard and American Express, as well as payments through Samsung Pay, Apple Pay and Google.

HYGIENE & CLEANING​

In addition to our existing cleaning and hygiene procedures, we are sanitising all areas of regular use (such as toilets, door handles, counter surfaces, collection table, card machine, etc.) frequently throughout the day with UK manufactured detergents which last for up to 12 hours and are proven to kill COVID – 19.

ADDITIONAL POLICY ACTIONS IMPLEMENTED INCLUDE:​

Our staff will be supplied with relevant PPE and will be trained in safe usage. Front of House staff will wear face masks.


Increasing the frequency of hand washing, surface cleaning and sanitising throughout the day.


Should a team member or member of their household experience COVID-19 symptoms they will be asked to stay at home and self-isolate for at least 14 days
